ABOUT KOTOR

On the foothill of the mountain Lovcen, in the deepest part of the most beautiful Mediterranean bay and one of the most beautiful in the world, there is the old town of Kotor. A town of rich cultural tradition and one of the best preserved sights in the Mediterranean area. Two thousand years of his history had left the mark in every stone of his walls, mansions and streets, on every portrait, on every frescos painting, in every portal and every alley.

As you walk through it you will feel the ongoing tradition of the town which has always knew how to impress and entertain his visitors and make them come back.  

During the year and specially during the summer season, in many of his beautiful landscape sceneries, a vast range cultural and artistic events take place.

ORGANISATION PROFILE 

Tourist Organization of Kotor was established in September 2005, following the passing of the new laws: the Tourism law and the Law on Tourism Organisations. The aim of the Tourist Organisation of Kotor is to pursue the public interest in the field of tourism. The new policy is that the local tourist organisations should have their own income, such as for example residence tax, membership fee and other that makes them a strong strategic and business partner of all hotel and tourist companies.
